Here’s a quick little run down of my latest Instagram outfit posts. As you know not all my looks make it to the blog due to only being able to shoot pics at weekends so I try to do a little round up of my latest outfits so if you don’t follow me on Instagram you can still see the looks but also shop the links here which Instagram doesn’t allow.
I was offered the chance to try out the new smartwatch from Guess, as a girl on the go with a busy lifestyle I thought this would be well worth it so I didn’t constantly need my phone in my hand. Updating my social channels constantly to keep up with my blog and answering tweets, comments and emails can be hard and things can easily be missed due to my phone being in my bag when I am out and about. This watch changed all that! It meant I could keep up with everything and stay on top of my workload. This watch does just about everything you would want a smart watch to do as well as keeping the watch element of it as the main aspect, these are fashionable as well as functional which you don’t really get with some of the other smart watches around.
I got an opportunity recently to work with White Stuff recently and admittedly it’s not a site I think to go on that often when looking for clothes. Their home stuff is to die for and I have a lust list as long as my arm most of the time. I was able to pick out my favourite pieces of womenswear and there was so many gorgeous items to choose from that I found it hard to narrow it down. This longline cardigan is a dream, I love the asymetric cut which makes it longer at the front. It’s a lightweight material and the charcoal colour goes with the majority of my wardrobe.
As you will have heard me say many, many times before…..everyone needs at least 1 breton stripe top in their
wardrobe life! They are such a staple item (hence the title) and can be worked into almost any outfit. They can be worn for a casual look like I have opted here as I was just out to do a bit of shopping and a few jobs that needed doing, they can be made to look slightly more dressy by swapping the blue jeans for black rip knee jeans and the kicks for chelsea boots (you can see this look on my Instagram). These tops go with denim cut offs and flip flops in the summer months for a laid back vibe or tucked into a high waist skirt, whether its skater style and worn with ankle boots for a cute girly twist or a leather pencil skirt and some heels for an office to bar ensemble. The possibilities are endless!

I thought I would do a little recap on my latest outfits that didn’t get blogged. I quite often take a quick mirror selfie as I’m running out of the house and these are more often then not looks that don’t make it to the blog. If you follow me on Instagram you will see these and I always try to tag where items are from but I thought I would do a quick little round up of outfits so if you aren’t big on using Instagram then you can keep up to date here. I will continue to do this after I have posted a few outfits every so often and try to give direct links to as many of the poroducts as possible. Where items are no longer in stock I will try to link to as similar items as possible. Click read more below to see all the looks!
I recently went to Greece for 10 days, the beautiful island of Corfu. This is the reason for my absence lately, I
wanted needed a complete break from blogging. I did however take some outfit pictures while I was there so I could share them with you all when I got home. This was my first night there, I didn’t have much of a tan yet so I opted for jeans. This pretty top is one of my latest purchases and the scattered beading detail makes it glisten in certain lights which I love.
I am living in this Boohoo jacket lately. Since I got it I don’t think it’s left my body. I get so many compliments on it whenever I wear it and it goes with almost anything so it’s an absolute winner. The top I got ages ago from ASOS and it’s something else I seem to be living in. It’s so comfortable and the longer length back gives it a little quirk. I am a big fan of knitted tops, they always look so cool. I have quite a growing collection and in the summer they are fun to wear.
Want to win a £200 Topshop gift card to spend on your perfect festival look?
Festival season is fast approaching so if you’re heading off to one this summer it’s time to get planning your outfit to wow the crowds. If you want to win £200 to spend at Topshop to nail your perfect festival look then read on (click ‘read more’ at the end to see the whole post). My festival style is all about comfort, you want to be able to bounce around to the music without worrying about anything other than which stage you’re going to head to next. I am pretty girly when it comes to my festival style, opting more for pieces with intricate detailing and layered jewellery. I love crochet and lace which I think is a festival staple for most people.

I have been looking for the perfect white sleevless blazer for such a long time since I saw the Fashion Editor of Company Magazine rocking one ages ago and how good it looked. I haven’t seen many around since then and there was always a small detail that I didn’t quite like. Then Missguided came to my rescue and produced this little gem. It’s a nice crisp white and has two pockets, I will be wearing this with all sorts when summer eventually decides to show its face. The next little beaut I was excited to show you was this pink glittery Skinnydip clutch. Skinnydip are the company responsible for the most beautiful phone covers adorned with chunky gems and sassy statements. I got this one via ASOS, they are sold in a number of places now. It is a good statement piece to have when your outfit is quite monochrome or consists of muted tones.
I went to London Fashion Week with the lovely Laura from ‘Laura’s Little Locket‘ – I thought I would make a mini vlog for those of you who didn’t make it down, just to give you a little taste of what it’s like on the cobbles of Somerset House.
