On a sunny day I am one of those typical Brits that gets super excited at the first sign of sun and out come all the summer clothes. I was off out for lunch with my sisters and was feeling in a summery mood so decided to just go for it and wear a dress. You will have to excuse the lack of tan but at this time of year not much I can do, roll on holidays! The weather has taken a turn for the worse today but hopefully it isn’t the last we see of the sun and can start transitioning into our summer wardrobe and put our winter coats to rest for a good few months.

You can’t see the real beauty of this top as it was a tad chilly on this day so I had to wear a jacket with it, but the back is split open with a small strip connecting the very top together, I picked it up whilst I was in America as it’s a really cute summer staple to have and team with denim shorts or tucked into a skater skirt. You can also wear it with skinny rip knee jeans and heels for a friday night at the pub kind of look.

I have been looking for the perfect white sleevless blazer for such a long time since I saw the Fashion Editor of Company Magazine rocking one ages ago and how good it looked. I haven’t seen many around since then and there was always a small detail that I didn’t quite like. Then Missguided came to my rescue and produced this little gem. It’s a nice crisp white and has two pockets, I will be wearing this with all sorts when summer eventually decides to show its face. The next little beaut I was excited to show you was this pink glittery Skinnydip clutch. Skinnydip are the company responsible for the most beautiful phone covers adorned with chunky gems and sassy statements. I got this one via ASOS, they are sold in a number of places now. It is a good statement piece to have when your outfit is quite monochrome or consists of muted tones.

SORRY for the lack of posts lately! I am on holiday with my family in Florida and to be honest I haven’t turned my laptop on once. I am just enjoying it while I am here and planing to catch up on everything when I am home. Here is an outfit I wore before I went away….
Every person must have a pair of Converse on their shoe rack. They such a huge staple to everyone whether you’re a guy or a girl, sporty or feminine and so on. They go with absolutely everything and can be worn with any style of clothing (within reason of course). I wore this look to work and didn’t fancy wearing boots so I dressed the outfit down by going for Converse instead.
I went to London Fashion Week with the lovely Laura from ‘Laura’s Little Locket‘ – I thought I would make a mini vlog for those of you who didn’t make it down, just to give you a little taste of what it’s like on the cobbles of Somerset House.
Don’t forget to give the video a ‘thumbs up’ if you liked it and please subscribe so you can see all my future videos.

I got this body chain from ASOS as part of my Christmas package, I’ve been wanting to try one for so long and I’m glad I got one because I love it. I went with a pretty simple, basic outfit and dressed it up with accessories. The faux fur stole is one I previously featured on the blog that I managed to wangle off my Mum. She got it for a wedding and then didn’t need it after so I decided to adopt it.

How amazing is this print blazer? I got it so long ago as one of my options for the Company magazine style blogger awards but I went with something different in the end. I decided to keep this jacket as I had already fallen in love with it. There were also matching trousers to make a co-ord but they didn’t have my size and despite endless searching I never managed to get my hands on them. I still want them so I am always checking ebay and depop but so far no luck. The jacket is gorgeous and so perfect when you are wearing jeans and a plain top but want to just chuck something on to make it a bit more dressy. This blazer does exactly that and it’s quite a statement piece so there isn’t much need for many accessories.

This fluffy hem dress is one of my favourite buys of 2014. I first spotted it about 6 months ago at the Topshop Autumn/Winter ’14 press day and then the wait began until it hit the stores. As soon as it landed in the new in section online I snapped it up and I am borderline obsessed with it. Fluff was everywhere this season and still is quite prominent on the high street. It gives everything a super girly and almost fairytale twist that is undeniably adorable.

I am so in love with this cuddly pink teddy coat, it is the warmest, snuggliest coat I’ve had in ages. It’s also super girly in this cute candy pink colour and it’s a perfect way to soften up a boyish kind of outfit. I like the contrast I have here with the faux leather skirt and chunky boots, it balances out the outfit niceley. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, a breton top is an absolute must for every wardrobe as they are so versatile and easy to wear.

I love khaki at this time of year, it’s such a good colour pallete for Autumn. This khaki shift dress was something I picked up in Athens when I visited a while back, it’s a nice casual day time dress and works really well either with or without tights depending on your preferance.
