Summer is just around the corner and before you know it you will be packing for your holiday thinking why on earth did I eat sooooo much this winter? We’ve all been there, myself included. Last winter I let go a bit too much and had such a hard slog ahead to work it all off again in time for the first of my many trips away. I vowed not to do it this year and to keep things under control. I knew I needed a plan but having never set foot in a gym in my entire life it was a daunting prospect! Luckily Boohoo are on hand to take the stress out of what to wear and how to look half decent when you’re red in the face and sweating buckets (because no matter what you’re doing we still want to look and feel good don’t we girls). It’s one less thing to worry about which is always a bonus in my books! They have an amazing new Fit range and have covered all bases on all things active wear. The rain held up for all of 5 minutes on Saturday so I took full advantage and ran out to snap some pics while I had the (rare) chance. Being able to only take blog pictures on weekends means it can be so difficult when the weather isn’t up to scratch, if I miss one weekend of shooting outfits then I have no content for the week that follows which drives me utterly insane. I wish I could blog full time as I would love nothing more than to find amazing locations and hire a photographer for the day and get so many outfits shot. However, having a full time job as well as a busy lifestyle means that fitting the blog (which is as much of a full time job on its own) in with everything is sometimes very hard to do. I try my best to not let it go too long inbetween posts but the reality is it’s hard. Taking photos yourself on your driveway with a tripod, timer and remote is not the easiest especially when it’s rains non stop all day and the wind doesn’t let up (it does provide many pics of ‘blog fails’ though). Trying to get good pictures is beyond difficult so I do very much appareciate all of you that read the blog despite all this.

Sorry about the quiet spell this week, I have been soooo busy and not been able to get any photos done the rubbish weather really hasn’t helped either. I can only take photos on weekends and when it rains all day then I am a bit stuck. I will try and get a few outfits done this weekend so that it doesn’t happen again! (please pray for no rain) I did shoot this simple uber-casual look last week though.

The bomber loving goes on and on, this time in a go-with-everything faux suede tan. This is a little different to my previously featured bomber jackets, it is a lot thinner and more lightweight than the others and is more of a cover up and part of the outfit than outerwear as such. I probably wouldn’t take this one off as it’s no different to wearing a cardigan or a shirt over a top. I quite like that this is more lightweight and less ‘coat like’, it makes a nice change to a big padded bomber and keeps an otherwise plain outfit on trend.

This bomber though guys!! I have a bit of a bomber love-in going on so been wearing them constantly at the moment, meaning they are showing up in every post. This beautiful floral embroidered one is what dreams are made of. It’s a nice thick material and something a little different to the usual satin style you see everywhere and what I usually wear. It jazzes up a plain-ish outfit and injects a little colour and fun into the mix.

February is finally here after what seemed like the longest month ever! I, like many other people, am extrememly poor after Christmas and time seems to slow down by about 10 times when you are waiting for payday. I face another long month ahead as my MOT is tomorrow and I will have my fingers crossed all day long that it passes (pray for me!). This means I can’t indulge in my usual shopping habits and won’t have much new stuff to show you this month which is not a fun prospect. Here is a really simple outfit for you to feast your eyes on and show that you can mix tailored pieces like loafers with a casual element like a bomber jacket.
If you want to save pennies this year but can’t quite kick your shopping habits (I am trying to cut down on buying so many clothes but it’s proving difficult) then I have discovered the best site. This does all the hard work for you by hunting out the latest bargains in the sale and displays all the deals in categories such as women’s sale jackets or women’s sale jeans. It means searching for a particular product is easier than ever and you don’t have to trawl the shops rummaging through sale racks. What could be better?!

As you know I feature a lot of my daily ‘non blog’ outfits on my Instagram, I usually snap a quick mirror selfie as I’m leaving the house. I do a little recap on the blog of these outfits every so often so that people can shop pieces from the looks or similar if it’s items that are no longer for sale. You can see the majority of items and similar products here. Click ‘read more’ below to see all the looks!

This weather only calls for one thing….knitwear, knitwear and more knitwear! In my opinion you cannot have enough winter woolies in your wardrobe. I know everyone is different but I don’t tend to really get cold legs so by balancing it all out and wearing a chunky knit on the top half, it means I can bear my legs during the colder months. The cosy roll neck and boots (with thick socks, a good pair of socks really does keep you warm) means I can still wear cute items such as this snake print skirt without catching frostbite. I actually really love a jumper and skirt combo, it mixes things up as I get so bored with wearing jeans sometimes. You can always tucker a sweater into a leather skirt for a more cinched in waist, feminin shape, I personally like a baggy jumper over the skirt but you can totally mix it up.
