Every girl needs a boyfriend shirt in their catalogue of clothes. It is an essential staple item and something you can throw on and really never go wrong with. They are comfortable and stylish which makes for a winning combo in my books. This shirt is from the new Gant Rugged collection and it’s gone straight to the top of my favourites out of the many many striped shirts I own. It’s a really breathable material and the oversized fit gives you a cool boyish edge which I have given a girly twist here by wearing a lacey peach harness bra underneath.

Not to be totally British or anything but what is with this weather at the moment?! It’s so erratic which makes dressing to leave the house a bit of a guessing game. We have had a few pleasant days and digging out the sunnies has made me extremely happy and oh so ready for summer to get it’s butt here pronto. From someone that lived in Greece for 6 years and wearing them every day without fail I sure have missed them. I treated myself recently to this rose tinted pair of beauties from Ray Ban (via ASOS).

I am a big big fan of the plunge neck, whether it be bodysuits, dresses or playsuits I think they look amazing. This was a quick look put together to show that for a big night out you don’t always need to get completely galmmed up to the max by going all out in a dress but you can still looks just as dressy in a plunge bodysuit, jeans and heels. Especially whent he weather is as icy cold as it is now, putting on a dress and facing the elements isn’t the most appealing idea in the world Bodysuits always look good and there are so many different styles on the market at the moment, you are sure to find one you like. It doesn’t have to be a plunge style either, this is just something I like at the moment.
If you want to save pennies this year but can’t quite kick your shopping habits (I am trying to cut down on buying so many clothes but it’s proving difficult) then I have discovered the best site. This does all the hard work for you by hunting out the latest bargains in the sale and displays all the deals in categories such as women’s sale jackets or women’s sale jeans. It means searching for a particular product is easier than ever and you don’t have to trawl the shops rummaging through sale racks. What could be better?!

As you would have seen from the high street, Christmas was made for glitter, sequins and anything sparkly. I headed out on Christmas eve with the girls for a few drinks to celebrate Christmas and have a catch up before the family festivities began and you didn’t leave the house for at least 48 hours. I wanted to dress up a bit as it was Christmas Eve and if you can’t get dolled up a bit more than normal to head to the pub then when can you? I got this amazing glitter thread plunge bodysuit a few days earlier after seeing it look fab in a picture of someone else wearing it and with the help of a friend (thanks Kneller) tracking it down. The photos don’t really do it justice, it has a small diamond pattern all over which is stitched in silver metallic thread.
As Christmas is just around the corner, like mine, I am sure your social calendar will be filling up fast with parties and events. Whether it’s your office Christmas do, dinner parties or even just afterwork drinks with friends you will want to look your best. Everyone makes that extra special effort at Christmas time and theres always a whole lot of sparkle during the month of December. This dress is an absolute gem….literally! It has beautiful neck detail and the best bit is there is no need for any accessorising. The dress does all the work so it is the best option when you are in a hurry and need to throw something on without thinking about all the extras to go with it.Read More »
Monochrome never fails to date. It always looks simple but chic and you can rely on monochrome when you’re having one of those days, we’ve all had time and time again, when absolutely everything you try on looks hideous. Monochrome comes and goes in the fashion world and as a trend will continue to do so for the long foreseeable future. Items like black boots and fedoras just finish off a look so well in the winter. Boots mean that you can brave it and bare your legs but still keep toasty with warm socks and a pair of go-with-everything ankle boots. This cosy teddy coat is one of the warmest coats I’ve bought in a while. Missguided have really stepped up their coat game this year and that is where I have bought the majority of mine so far. It really does keep you super toasty and the colour goes with so much too.

After going through a colour nightmare last year I unfortunately had to go an all over dark colour to fix the mess and have my healthy previously uncoloured long locks chopped off, it was traumatic to say the least. A year down the line and it is getting there on the growing front and is finally the bright blonde colour I want it to be thanks to an awesome hairdresser. I have had a couple of big chops last year and again this Jan/Feb (they were much needed after what my hair had been through) but now I am back to small trims as I want it back to it’s original long length again. It also has bleach in it now as I love it to be an ashy blonde which means I need to be extra careful with how I treat it. I got the chance to try out some amazing TIGI products thanks to the lovely people at ASOS (thank you Lindsey!). I am 100% sold on these products! They have made a world of difference to my hair after such a short amount of use.

This fluffy hem dress is one of my favourite buys of 2014. I first spotted it about 6 months ago at the Topshop Autumn/Winter ’14 press day and then the wait began until it hit the stores. As soon as it landed in the new in section online I snapped it up and I am borderline obsessed with it. Fluff was everywhere this season and still is quite prominent on the high street. It gives everything a super girly and almost fairytale twist that is undeniably adorable.
Aren’t these shoes simply uh-mazing!? I cannot even begin to explain how in love with them I am. As soon as I saw them I instantly thought of Carrie Bradshaw (which is actually also what they are called online) and being a huge fan of Sex And The City/Carrie Bradshaw/heels/pink/fluffy…..I could go on and on but you get the idea. Marabou feather trim is going to be huge this season and I have already seen so many amazing bits that will be rehomed in my immaculately organised wardrobe. The heels also come in red and black if pink isn’t really your colour. I took these pics before running out the house for my friend Shakila’s birthday night out so I didn’t have time to zoom in on the shoes but I grabbed a couple of shots on my phone which you can see (above and below).
