You will have probably seen harness bralets all over the high street lately. I have been looking for some cute ones but they seem to be constantly sold out! I did manage to nab this one though and it’s a winner. It’s a bit more 50 shades than most of the more simple versions I’ve seen around but sometimes you’ve just got to bring your inner prowess out. It is actually shown online as more of a top to wear with skirts, high waist jeans etc but unless I have abs like Jenna Dewan-Tatum in the next two months then that won’t be happening!
It has a centre circle with multiple straps branching off from it and has a zip and hook & eye fastening at the back. I love the look of harness bras under t-shirts for something a little more out there. Since this post I bought the nicest slouchy boyfriend style tees from Zara and this would look amazing under it. These ones work well but they are less oversized than my newer ones and I just think they will work a little better. I love the harnesses that have a really simple round the neck loop and straight bar down the centre, I need to track one down. I paired up the top half with my new, much loved, Missguided zip back faux leather trousers (as seen in my previous post). They are such a comfortable pair of bottoms and an absolute bargain of a price too.
The loafers are still at the top of my favourite flats list. They really stand out and I am much more of a pointed shoe lover, they really make an outfit pop and let’s face it – what doesn’t go with leopard print? I always find a red lip also makes a look standout a little more and goes well with leopard print too so I went for a soft red lip and messy stright hair. Since the bralet did all the work there was no need for jewellery other than my chunky watch. Team this with a bomber jacket for a casual look or an oversized boyfriend blazer for a more tailored twist.
