As you would have seen from the high street, Christmas was made for glitter, sequins and anything sparkly. I headed out on Christmas eve with the girls for a few drinks to celebrate Christmas and have a catch up before the family festivities began and you didn’t leave the house for at least 48 hours. I wanted to dress up a bit as it was Christmas Eve and if you can’t get dolled up a bit more than normal to head to the pub then when can you? I got this amazing glitter thread plunge bodysuit a few days earlier after seeing it look fab in a picture of someone else wearing it and with the help of a friend (thanks Kneller) tracking it down. The photos don’t really do it justice, it has a small diamond pattern all over which is stitched in silver metallic thread.
As it was only a pub evening I didn’t go for super glam on the bottom half and instead decided to wear ripped knee skinnies and my favourite heels of the moment (they are SUPER comfy). As my hair was this bright vibrant purple at the time and the bodysuit had the glittery thread detail I didn’t wear any jewellery aside from my watch.
The low plunge neck itself was enough of a detail/statement look without needing to add anything extra to it. It would have taken away from the bodysuit but also looked far too chaotic. I went with winged eyeliner (I’ve been practicing to get those wings on point) and a dark berry lip to finish it all off.
Hey Gillian,
Ive got the same bodysuit but how do you wear it without showing the panty line?
Hey, I’ve only worn it with jeans so far not with a skirt so I don’t know if it shows through in other stuff. The jeans are thick enough to not see it which is good 🙂 xx
