If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen this dress already as I wore it in October when I was in Greece. It is such a festive dress due to its gorgeous deep berry burgundy shade. I love the faux suede material too, it’s just a little different and gives it such a luxe feel. The wrap over front is also a really nice detail and I like how they have added it not only to the neckline but also the hem of the dress too. I am not usually one to opt for long sleeves but nothing else would have really worked with this dress. It is really comfortable and keeps you nice and warm too, making it the perfect winter/festive dress.
I got the heels after my friend Frankie popped round for a catch up one day and she, like me, is a shopaholic. She was showing me all her new buys and these shoes were one of them, I tried hers on and fell head over heels (excuse the pun!) so I got straight online and snapped them up. They are those amazing go-with-everything heels that can be paired up with jeans and skirts/dresses. Their neutral colour means they can be teamed with anything which makes them great value for money!
My lip is Sleek Make Up in ‘Vamp’, I have been searching for a nice deep winter shade and this one fit the bill. It has great pigment and lasting power and the best bit? It doesn’t break the bank. Sometimes I wear my little coin necklace with this but here I thought I would leave the jewellery because of the dark lip, dark stnad out shade of dress and print on the heels. A little necklace and a couple of thin rings would also look really cute but just no statement necklaces or bracelets as it would be too much.
