Hands up if you love a pinny? I borrowed this cute denim dress from my best friend for a trip to Italy and then I was flying straight to Greece after. We were out shopping and I saw this dress in Topshop and was about to buy it when my friend Erin said she had it so to borrow hers instead. While I was wearing it in Italy I decided I liked it too much and needed it as a new addition to my wardrobe. So sat in a little Italian cafe watching the world go by I logged on and bought it. It was like a little present waiting for me on my arrival home. The only thing that bugged me a bit when I got mine was I ordered a size down from the one I borrowed but it was so much shorter than my friends. As I was away over a month I couldn’t return it. If I could buy it again I would get the tall version as that would be about the right length, the standard one is more like petite. Never mind, I can wear this with flat sandals in the summer and this also looks fab with tights so it will be taking me through the winter months too.
I paired mine up with one of my fave striped shirts and my much loved and also much worn ASOS boots. I love this two compartment zip top bag, I picked it up from Primark for something silly like £6. I always think after I should have bought two for when this one gets tatty. I must remember to do this in the future! It’s a nice size and fits so much into it. I like having the two compartments as you can put important bits you need to access quickly in one side for ease, like train tickets or your phone for example. I added my gold coin necklace, watch and stacked a few thin gold rings. I also went with a sheer berry stain lip colour; L’oreal – Touch Caresse in ‘103’.
I put a bit of lilac through the ends of my hair which you will have seen me do before, every now and then I get bored and end up with purple hair. It washes out quite quick and very easily as it’s a vegetable based dye. You can get it here It also goes a nice silvery grey colour as it’s fading and washing out which I really love. I’m considering the whole grey/silver all over as I love how it looks. I might take the plunge soon around Christmas/New Year time after it’s been freshly highlighted so it’s more ashy blonde.
