Recently I had the chance to view the new Gok Wan for Tu pieces from his new ‘Monochrome’ collection, I loved the range and was lucky enough to be able to pick my favourite pieces. I was instantly drawn to these gorgeous check print trousers. They are the perfect spring trouser and will work with so many options. You can wear them to work in a more formal style with a shirt tucked in or like I have opted here give them a more casual twist by adding a boyfriend tee, some flats and a fedora. You can also work them into a night time look by wearing a cami top and some pointed courts or strappy lace up heels which are very ‘of-the-moment’. I love these trousers and I will be getting so much wear out of them over the next few months through spring and summer.
I adore these shoes just as much as when I first got them, they are one of my favourite pairs and go with the majority of my wardrobe due to their monochrome colour and minimal print. My preferred way to wear them is with skinny jeans, the snake print topped with a gold buckle just adds an extra something to them and they are a nice alternative to ballet flats or slipper shoes when you want to give your look a slight nod towards a more formal vibe.
