How amazing is this print blazer? I got it so long ago as one of my options for the Company magazine style blogger awards but I went with something different in the end. I decided to keep this jacket as I had already fallen in love with it. There were also matching trousers to make a co-ord but they didn’t have my size and despite endless searching I never managed to get my hands on them. I still want them so I am always checking ebay and depop but so far no luck. The jacket is gorgeous and so perfect when you are wearing jeans and a plain top but want to just chuck something on to make it a bit more dressy. This blazer does exactly that and it’s quite a statement piece so there isn’t much need for many accessories.
This is quite a good jacket for a nice dinner or drinks out on a friday night after work. I have worn it mostly with looks similar to this one, for example ripped black jeans, a white cami and chelsea boots for my Dad’s birthday back in the summer. I do tend to wear it with more casual pieces and use the jacket as a way of dressing it up but I have also worn it with a black plain open back playsuit and heels before for a night out, the jacket was a great way to add a bit of colour into the look. The boots are probably my favourite pair at the moment, burgundy is such a lovely winter colour and a nice alternative to plain black. They are currently in the sale at H&M so if you can get your hands on a pair then they are yours for only £20!
The jeans and tee are from my go-to place, ASOS. The top is called the ‘forever t-shirt’ and its a nice springy comfy material. I got it in black and white and they are brilliant basics, I will be getting the grey to complete my collection. They are so wearable and an absolute staple that you need in your wardrobe. It’s always good to have baggier boyfriend fit tees in various fabrics and different necklines to mix into looks. I have slightly purple tinted hair here, my friend got me the Bleach London set for christmas and this was after I used the ‘Violet Skies’. I really liked it so then I got some La Riche Directions in ‘Lilac’ and diluted it with conditioner and covered my hair and had an all over lilac tint which can be seen on my Instagram. I had it over the christmas period and it’s all washed out now but I really liked the way it looked so I will definitely be doing it again. I also have a pastel pink colour to use and a peachy orangey colour too from Bleach London so I will be making use of those sometimes soon.
