Today’s post is a simple look I wore for a night in the pub with a few of the girls. Over the Christmas period I had my hair a lilac tone which shows up slightly in these pics. I loved how different the colour looked in various lighting. Some pictures it came out really pink, others a very subtle lilac and in dark lighting you couldn’t tell at all. A day or so after I took these pictures I added a bit more purple into it and it showed up really well. It’s almost completely washed out now, it was just a temporary wash out vegetable based colour but I loved having it for a while so I will definitely be doing it again sometime. Now onto the outfit…
This RI high neck racer style top has been featured on my blog before, it is still one of my favourites though. I really like the racer front, its usually a style seen more commonly at the back of a top but last summer racer fronts were seen all over. I kept it all super simple by leaving it untucked, I usually wear this top tucked into jeans, skirts etc. I wanted a casual vibe so I left it hanging loose. I opted for my rip knee Jamie skinnies and my gold bar buckle sandals from Public Desire. I almost went necklace free but at the last minute I added my ‘Gillian’ name necklace as it’s small and dainty it complemented the look nicely. I kept other accessories minimal by just wearing my watch and stacking a few plain gold band rings.
