This fluffy hem dress is one of my favourite buys of 2014. I first spotted it about 6 months ago at the Topshop Autumn/Winter ’14 press day and then the wait began until it hit the stores. As soon as it landed in the new in section online I snapped it up and I am borderline obsessed with it. Fluff was everywhere this season and still is quite prominent on the high street. It gives everything a super girly and almost fairytale twist that is undeniably adorable.

I had a Christmas party to attend and it was a themed evening of ‘Hollywood glamour’ so I thought this dress would be perfect for the occassion. I kept everything else very simple as the dress was the main element of the outfit. I went for black strappy sandals which I think complement the dress niceley and in tone with the black sandals I picked out a black studded clutch. Jewellery I also kept very minimal by only wearing an open middle section choker necklace with two gem and pearl ends, my watch and a few thin gold band rings. I didn’t want to go to over the top as the dress really didn’t require too much accessorising. I curled my hair for a change and pulled them out slightly to make them loose and not look so uniform, I just prefer this kind of messy wavy hair look as opposed to tight curls. I did brown subtle smokey eyes and finished it all off with my favourite pink lipstick in the form of Kate Moss for Rimmel London in the shade ’20’.

I can’t wait for another occassion to wear this cute number, it’s a nice A line cut and the feather hem just really makes it.
