First of all….HAPPY NEW YEAR! I took a bit of a break from blogging over the Christmas period to spend time with my family and I had such an amazing time. My new little niece was adorable as always and made Christmas really fun this year. I hope you all got what you wanted from Santa but most importantly I hope you all had some quality time with family and friends which is personally for me, what Christmas is all about. Now I am not one to set new years resolutions but this year I am kind of making one. Not so much of a resolution as such but more of an aim, which is to blog a lot more often. I want to be doing at least 3 posts a week, which is quite hard when you work full time and have to wear certain stuff to work which isn’t exactly blog worthy. It’s also dark when I get home so weekends are my main blog picture days, which again is hard if you end up having one of those chill in sundays spent in your pj’s or even worse….a horrendous hangover. The last thing you want to do is put make up on and go outside to take pictures but I really want to focus on my blog a lot more this year. I moved back from Greece last year so I made that year all about having fun and making the most of being home. It’s now time for me to put all my effort and energy into this blog and make it the best it can possibly be. I also aim to get my YouTube channel back on track and start making way more videos. They take a lot of time and work to make but I enjoy them and I want to really get back on top of them and everything else blog wise this year. So without further adue, here’s to 2015!
Moving on to my outfit, this yeti coat is so spot on for this bitterly cold weather that keeps creeping up on us. I went shopping so I opted for a casual look as it’s not the most fun thing to try on loads of clothes when you have a fussy outfit on, it was one of those nice sunny but crisp cold days which I love at this time of year. As long as it’s not raining then I am happy, rain is weather that means it’s time to stay indoors, cosy up and watch some films.
I got this coat from H&M last christmas when I was up in London and I didn’t really wear it too much last winter, I’m not really sure why but as winter approached last year I seem to have become coat obsessed. I’ve bought so many new ones this winter and dug out all my old ones, I had way more than I remembered and now have a wardrobe just for my coats! I like to have choice you see. This one is such an easy colour to work into an outfit and not to mention so cosy and snug. I got this boyfriend tee from Topshop ages ago and I wear it all the time. I live in boyfriend tees at weekends, they go with everything. They are nice and causal to wear with jeans for an off duty looks but they are also great to wear with a pair or super tight skinnies and heels for a more dressy but casual night out vibe or with a super girly skirt or sequin shorts to tone down a more dressy element of an outfit. They pretty much work with any combination and you can pick them up from almost anywhere at great prices. It’s good to have staples such as white, black and grey to work into your wardrobe.
My jeans are my new Topshop Jamie jeans, I needed a new pair as my other ones were so old and more of a charcoal coour than black. I like my old ones as they have a nice high waist and the side zips in the pocket area and also on the ankles. These ones are amazing though, they are so comfortable and sit at the perfect ankle grazer length. I am after a pair of jeans exactly like this but normal denim colour and minus the rips. It’s proving to be a difficult task to find the perfect pair but I will persevere as it will be worth it when I find some. I got the hat in Primark for an amazing £7 and I’ve worn it a tonne of times already, everyone needs a black fedora in their lives. I love a pair of converse, they go with everything from jeans to dresses and of course they are super comfy which when you’re shopping is a god send!
