I was off to the pub last week with the girls for our little weekly tradition of pub quiz, nachos and a catch up. It’s a nice chilled cosy pub and on this particular night I was freeezing (I pretty much feel like this all of the time, I’m sure it’s not normal to be this cold). I picked up this absolute saviour of a scarf from the purse friendly Primark for a complete steal of only £6! It is huge too! When laid out flat it is so big and could very easily double up as a picnic blanket in the Summer, multifunctional is never a bad thing. I currently have said blanket wrapped around me while I write this. I have been tucked up ill in bed for a few days hence the old photos being used for this post. I didn’t want to leave you guys hanging so luckily I had this outfit that I hadn’t posted. You definitely wouldn’t want to have seen my attire for the majority of this week…..It consisted of tartan pj bottoms, a burgundy long sleeve top, a pink polka dot dressing gown, fluffly pink socks and a hot water bottle permanently attached to my front. Being ill sucks but Christmas is almost upon us and that, my friend, does not suck in any way shape or form.

These boots are a new addition to my wardrobe, I loooooooove them! They actually look a lot darker here than they do in real life but they are the perfect boots, comfy, good heel height, nice tan colour. They tick all the right boxes. They sold out once online already so I had to wait for them to come in again before I could get my hands on them but it was worth the wait. The jumper is an old comfy Primark purchase and its a nice simple slouchy grey jumper. I actually get quite a lot of knitwear from Primark as it’s good prices and I like a lot of their designs. The denim jacket is an old one from Topshop that I made a bit more acid wash style by adding bleach to it in sections. My jeans are my ASOS ridley jeans with ripped knees which I have had for a while and lived in since I bought them. I finished it off with on eof my favourite necklaces from ASOS. It is a chunky sort of chain with a large pendant which has bugs on it, sounds odd but it’s nice I promise! I love it as it’s something different and always adds a little something to a look.

It’s my work’s Christmas party tonight so I’m excited to get dolled up after feeling (& looking) so horrendous this week. I have a fluffy hemmed Topshop number to wear and if I’m not running mega late I will grab some pics for the blog for you all. Happy weekend people!
