I found these pics from my last night in Greece but I never ended up posting them, so I thought I would do so now. This top is one of my current favourites, it comes in black & white but I bought the 2 pack as it worked out a little cheaper and I’ve already worn both a few times. A basic black and white cami is needed in every wardrobe at some point or another, it’s a must have staple piece. I love, love, love the low scooped back on these too. Anything with a low back is pretty much sold to me as soon as I set eyes on it, it’s probably my favourite thing to wear.
This skirt is another much loved item in my wardrobe, I recently had a bit of a mini breakdown regarding this beautiful pink little gem. I got this exact skirt in black as I needed a new black faux leather basic because mine were getting a little tired. I hang all my skirts on clip hangers and as I have so many I usually have 2 or 3 to a hanger. I hung the black and the pink skirt on a clippy hanger and a couple of days later I went to get the black skirt to wear……To my absolute horror as I took the skirts off the hanger I discovered that the black skirt had rubbed it’s dye onto the pink skirt and completely ruined it. There were ghastly black marks all along the top waistband and extra dark patches where the hanger clips were. I. Almost. Cried. – After trying every single cleaning product in the house (including acetone & rubbing alcohol advised from numerous sites after googling the crap out of it) I had no joy. I then scoured the interent and after days managed to find what seemed to be this exact skirt. I received the replacement yesterday and sure enough it is the exact skirt, albeit a little lighter than this shade of pink but that is something I can definitely live with.
I am now one happy bunny and continue my love affair with this bright pink beauty. Have you guys ever had a piece of clothing you loved so much and it got totally ruined that you felt your heart break a little? I’m sure anyone as obsessed with their clothes as me will feel my pain. I have OCD when it comes to my wardrobe, it is organised into styles and sleeve lengths and has categories within categories, yes I know I’m an absolute mad woman. I would love to hear if anyone else does this with their wardrobes, leave me a comment below if you do the same sort of thing and how you organise your little fashion narnia.
Obviously the weather was still lovely when I wore this, hence the sandals. I would now be wearing this with heels or boots for a night out. I would also keep jewellery minimal as I have done here to keep the focus on the bright skirt and the low back detail. I had minimal jewellery with just my beloved ‘Carrie’ style name necklace and my MK watch.
