Now I know I have featured this skirt on the blog numerous times over the last few months but it is such a great skirt so no justification is needed. This time as the weather has turned colder I paired the scallop edge skirt with a grey jumper for a change. This means I can carry on wearing it throughout the colder months and then back to teaming it with crops and cami tops come next Summer.
I am wearing it with sandals here as I was in Greece when I took these pictures….I know, I know, I am in Greece all the time – it is my second home after all. Now that I am back in Blighty I would wear this outfit with a pair of ankle boots or loafers. I picked up this simple grey jumper recently as something like this is a really good basic to have in your wardrobe. You can wear it with jeans in a casual way or dress it up a bit like I have here. It also looks really good with my black leather skirt for a more Autumn/Winter look. You can also wear shirts underneath it and have the collar on show for something a little bit different.
The skirt has served me well since I got it, it was actually a bit of an impulse buy but I’m glad I got it as I’ve worn it loads. The scallop edge and double layer (you can’t see the double layer so well in the pics) make it more dressed up than a plain a line skirt. I added my pastel gem necklace which I adore. It’s not too in your face as the cool colours compliment the grey and white really well. I kept make up quite neutral and added a light pink sheer lippy to finish.
