High necks are my new favourite thing. They look so nice on with a pair of jeans and heels. I had sandals on here as these pictures were taken while I was on holiday. I have a few left to postt hat I recently found but forgot to blog. I don’t want them to go to waste so I am going to go ahead and post them anyway even though it was last month. It doesn’t matter though as this is an outfit I would wear here too but I would substitute the sandals for a pair of courts. I got this top a while back and have worn it so much. I love the high neckline and racer cut at the front and back, it also has a low V cut out section on the back at the top which adds a little something extra to the top.

It is a fairly long top so you can wear it tucked into jeans/shorts/skirts etc as I prefer to wear it, or you can leave it out and it looks good teamed up with a pair of leather trousers and heels for a mix of textures. If you leave the top untucked it looks best with skinny style tight fitting bottoms to balance out the looseness of the top when it isn’t tucked in. This is however just personal preferance of how I would wear it.

I wore this top with my skinny ripped knee jeans on this particular day. I added a chunky gold necklace and leopard print belt. I usually don’t wear a necklace with this top as I love the neckline on it’s own so much but I wanted to dress it up a little more and not keep it too plain with the muted colours. I liked the contrast of the high neckline and the lower hanging necklace. It would also look nice with a couple of smaller dainty necklaces that sit at different levels if you didn’t want to wear a big statement necklace but also didn’t want to go without. I actually removed the leopard belt after the photos as I thought it looked a little much and liked it better with just the plain waist band of the jeans on show. Unintentionally I also matched my nails to the outfit as I had painted them white the day before. I think white nails are the ultimate for holidays, they stand out nicely and with a bit of a tan they look fab.

They still do this top in a few other colours and a slightly different texture. I think I am going to snap up the black version to wear with my white skinny jeans or coloured leather skirts. It’s one of those fall back safety tops that when in doubt you can turn to.
