I am beyond in love with this amazing blue ASOS shorts suit. I got it a few months back for a summer wedding option but I ended up wearing something different. I had to go to ASOS HQ a fewweeks ago so I thought this would be the perfect attire for the occasion. I love pastels still even going in to winter, the icy blue hue works just as well in the cooler months as it does for Spring & Summer. The pieces work just as well on their own too, you can add the blazer to a pair of skinny jeans and heels for an evening look or the shorts with a crop top during the summer or on holiday. I luckily took these pictures on a crisp bright sunny day which was lucky because it has since turned a bit dismal ,grey and rainy. Oh the joys of British weather.

I wore one my of my favourite tops as it goes with absolutely everything. I didn’t want to wear a plain white top as it would have all been a bit too bland for my liking, so this striped top worked really well. I also added a pop of colour when it got to my feet. I got these cute pink suede courts from…wait for it…..Primark! Amazing right?! Only £9 and I absolutely loooove them. They look awesome with all sorts and for me they really make the outfit. When possible I always like to make my shoes stand out by making them a complete contrast to the rest of the outfit. It helped tie in the pink lippy and nails too.

I kept jewellery minimal by only wearing a small gold ‘Gillian’ necklace, a couple of rings and my watch. I curled my hair for a change too, what do you think? I still can’t believe I have cut 3/4 of my hair off. I keep looking at pictures of when it was long and thinking ‘what on earth did you do that for?!’ but it was really really unhealthy and needed a good fresh chop and to start again. Saying that, I do really like it this length so will enjoy it while I have it but I will be going back towards longer tresses again and growing it back to where it was before. I am definitely more of a long haired kind of girl.
