Autumn is upon us which means wrapping up in knits and the boots come out of hibernation. Autumn is one of the most beautiful months and I always get a little bit excited about wrapping up in new season knitwear and the array of coats on offer across the high street. I was treated by the lovely people at Repertoire Fashion to this beautiful lambs wool and cashmere roll neck Nicole Farhi jumper which is the softest most comfortable jumper I have ever had the pleasure of owning. They spoiled me by also giving me this cute gold chain Ted Baker ‘Alisa’ bag. What’s more is they have also treated all of you guys by giving me and exclusive 10% off code for my readers when you spend £100 or more (including sale items!). Read on for the discount code and more pictures of how I styled the items.
I am not quite ready to put my legs away for the winter but it’s also too cold to wear just a short sleeved dress so I thought I would combine the best of both worlds and wear this gorgeous jumper over the top of the dress. The roll neck makes it nice and snuggly and the lambswool keeps you so warm in this chilly British weather. I love the contrasting arms, they make the jumper more standout and when the neck is rolled over you can see a peep of the lighter colour on the inside. All the features make the jumper interesting to look at and not such a dark overall look. I rolled up the arms slightly as I liked the way it looked. When left alone the sleeves are full length.
I added a waist belt to cinch in the middle, the jumper is a little oversized so for a more structured look a belt is the way to create this. I picked this belt as it would show well against the brown of the jumper, It also matched the hardware on the bag and the studs on my boots. Brown and gold is basically the epitome of Autumn so it seemed like an obvious choice.
The bag is such a little gem. It comes with a detachable gold body chain so you it doubles up as a clutch too. It is a great size and you can fit all your essentials for a night out. It is also a good bag for the day if you only need a few things with you for a lunch date or something similar. The bag as two compartments which helps you to organise your stuff in a more efficient way. Inside one of the compartments it has another zip pocket to keep money or your phone and it also has a few slots for cards/ID. Another nice little feature is that each side of the bag is different. One side has a gold square with Ted Baker engraved into it and the other side has Ted Baker printed on the leather in gold letters (see above pics). so you can decide which one you want on show depending on what you’re wearing. The inside is also beautiful with it’s grey silk floral print lining. The whole bag is a beautiful little piece and I know it will be used a lot in the future.
The dress is the Primark bargain I picked up a couple of months ago, I have featured it on the blog previously in my holiday outfit posts. It’s a lovely cream colour with textured lines running across it and the thicker material means it can be worn throughout Autumn and even the winter too with boots. The boots are my favourites, they are from Zara and the colour is one I will always love as it’s so versatile and goes with everything. The studs make them more interesting and add a rocky edge to them.
As there was a lot of gold going on in the outfit and the jumper is a roll neck a necklace wasn’t necessary. I grabbed a selection of gold rings and my MK watch which never leaves the house without me.
