Summer and backless tops go hand in hand for me, I wear them as often as the weather lets me. I decided to go for the double denim look as I felt a little bare to go to dinner in just the black top.

I got the top years ago from Topshop but it’s just too pretty to not show it off. The denim shorts have been on the blog before, they are a pair of old jeans that have been cut into shorts. In the summer months I pretty much live in them. I added a leopard belt to break the outfit up a little. I kept with the black theme when it came to my shoes, they are old River Island studded streppy sandals. I also have them in white and wear them to death every year. They are starting to show a little wear and tear now which means next summer it’s probably time to replace them…..which means more shopping! Yaaaay! I threw over my denim shirt which was the perfect contrasting shade of denim

I wore my gold coin necklace which is one of my favourites, my sister bought it for me a while ago and I love it. I wanted a pop of colour as the whole outfit felt a little too bland for a holiday look so I added my bright red Barry M lippy in ‘121’.
