These trousers have made an appearance on the blog before a while ago so I thought it was about time I dug them back out again since it was Summer and they are nice and bright. They are from River Island and I am still in love with them as much as when I first got them. The high waist means you can wear little crop tops for a night out look if you wanted to give skinny jeans a miss for a change. I rolled the hems up to show off the shoes more plus I just prefer the look of peg trousers rolled up.
The top is an off the shoulder crop I got from ASOS at the beginning of Summer. I can’t remember the exact price but I remember it being an absolute bargain, so much so that I bought it in black aswell. I find ASOS the ultimate destination for basic tops. They do the best crop scoop back camis and boyfriend t-shirts and at absolutely amazing prices too. I can’t get enough of them
You will have seen the shoes many times before (now in the sale!!) but they are just the perfect pair, they go with absolutely everything and I’ve had so much wear out of them. They are good for casual outfits but they are also great with more formal looks too. They are the comfiest heels I’ve had in a long time and I can wear them all night long with no sore feet.
I went with a skinny white belt to tie in with the shoes and the top and just added a pink lippy. The trousers are the main element in this outfit so accessories needed to be kept to a minimum. I went for one of my favourite necklaces that my sister bought me. A gold two coin necklace like the one made famous by Holly Willoughby. I wear it all the time and it always gets compliments. It’s the perfect little necklace for when you need some accessories but nothing too OTT.
