Lace always adds a delicate dainty look to any outfit and this beautiful crochet lace effect co-ord is no exception. I was sent this beautiful two piece from ISWAI (which stands for ‘it starts with an idea’) the fashion label by the uber stylish Caggie Dunlop, former Made In Chelsea star. What’s so great about these pieces is that you can wear it together and it’s a ready made outfit; alternatively the top and skirt can be worn with other items, so you technically get 3 outfits out of this set.

The white colour is fresh and the lace style design makes it such a summery piece. This is perfect for events that require more than a simple summer tee dress such as Ascot or a summer garden party. The high waist design gives an elegant silhouette and the cropped length of the top allows for the bare midriff section to be seen by others. At a distance it could even look like a dress with a middle cut out section which is also a nice look.

I wore this with my amazing neon pink (although they look a lot more coral here) River Island sale bargain heels. I went for bright pink to add a pop of colour to the outfit. I didn’t wear much jewellery as the design it quite busy so you don’t want too much fuss. I just wore my simple ‘G’ pendant Sarah Chloe necklace and my chunky gold MK boyfriend watch. I clashed my nails by wearing a bright aqua green, which I really liked against the white of the outfit. Make up I kept as brown tones on my eyes and then a pink lippy for a little splash of colour. I also think with a different pair of heels that a post box red lipstick would look amazing with this outfit, it would be really stand out against the white outfit.

I mixed it up a bit to show how easy it is to style this outfit in a different way. I swapped the matching top for a tan colour thin strap cami from H&M. I added tan shoes and tied my hair into a messy ponytail for a more sleek summery look. The outfit gives so many choices as white goes with everything so it’s easy to find things that would match. You can even wear the top in a really casual way with a pair of skinny jeans and flats for lunch out with friends or a shopping trip. There is so many possibilities with these two pieces. The even better news is that they have both just gone into the sale and won’t be around for long so snap them up while you can!
