This chambray blue shirt was a spontaneous purchase a while back. I liked the soft casual feel of it as opposed to the standard blue denim shirt.
I usually wear this with jeans but a while ago in the blog I wore a denim short sleeve shirt with this scallop edge skirt and really liked the look. I knew a denim shirt would be too hot to wear in Greece so I opted for this one instead and it was perfect!
I kept with the pastel blue and white fresh colour scheme and wore my white plait t bar sandals and a Floozie by FrostFrench chunky gem statement necklace under the collar.
I love light colours for the summer time and when you get a nice tan to team it with it always looks even better. I have worn this shirt a fair bit since I got it. It looks good with skirts as I have worn here but also looks nice with skinny jeans or denim cut offs.
If you don’t fancy giving the double denim look a go then a shirt like this is great for easing yourself into the trend as it looks similar to denim but it isn’t. The shirt is also available in white which would be a nice casual twist on the classic white shirt. It has a more slouchy relaxed feel than a crisp white smart shirt and again would look great with some dark denim shorts and sandals for a summery holiday look. Add a bright statement necklace, killer heels and a clutch bag for a day to night look.
