The plain white tee is such a wardrobe staple. It can be worn in so many different ways and also comes in a variety  of cuts and styles. I have an ever growing collection of them and this one was just another to add to said collection.

It comes in a baggy boyfriend style fit and has fairly long sleeves which I roll up a couple of times. The waistband of this tee is elasticated which I am not usually a fan of but I will most likely always wear this tee tucked in so you won’t really see the waistband on it. The best part of this top is the back, it has a slit right down the middle and hangs open slightly so from the front it may look like a standard white tee but the back gives it some interesting character.

The shorts are a pair of old New Look high waist 90’s mom style shorts, I lost a bit of weight and they became too big for me but I really liked them so instead of getting rid of them I decided to unroll the bottoms and cut them into a pair of baggy hot pant denim cut offs. I always really like light denim for the summer time, it goes with the brighter shades about at this time of year and not to mention look great with a killer tan.

I added this gorgeous pastel necklace by FrostFrench at Debenhams, I got this at a Debenhams event a while back and I’ve worn it non stop since. I love the pastel shades and it goes perfectly over this high neck plain top. A necklace is the perfect way to transform an outfit. I added my gold studded sandals, a skinny black plaited belt and watch to keep it all nice and simple and then I went for pink nails and lippy to finish it all off.
