Sunglasses: Ray Ban // Necklace: H&M
The sun was out for a little while and it put me into the perfect summery mood. I decided it was time for sandals to come out. I got sent these amazing tan sandals and this oh-so-cute polka dot shirt from the lovelies at Glamorous. I absolutely adore them both and with the gorgeous weather it seemed fitting to get them out. The sandals come in white too which I am going to have to get because not only are they so comfortable but they are going to work with pretty much any outfit over the coming Summer (if we have one that is). They will be coming on holiday with me and I can’t wait to wear them with denim cut offs and cute little crop tops.
I love how well they work with the ankle grazer jeans. I think they bring the whole outfit into the smart/casual category. The tan colour is so easy to wear with all sorts too which make them a really versatile pair of shoes. They fasten with a zip up the back which makes them a lot easier to get on and off than having to undo any buckles. The shirt is a lovely slinky sort of material which hangs so nicely when it’s on, it feels like really good quality which is great for only £21.00. I love that the dots are not perfect cirlces too, they are a marker pen kind of effect which gives the shirt a nice quirk about it. The bold blue colour of the dots is also a nice standout summery shade.
The bright necklace went so well against the shirt, the mix of colours really stood out and completed the outfit for me. I added my sunnies and was ready to go.
If you’re looking for some summer/holiday outfit inspiration then definitely check out Glamorous as it has some really amazing pieces and at even more amazingly low prices. My favourite pieces at the moment are the smock dresses which come in a gorgeous bubblegum pink and pastel lilac. I am also loving the denim shirt dress which is another perfect for summer piece.
