uk_fashion_blog_high_street_gillian_lee_rose_gillianleerose_outfit_lookbook_style_topshop_nasty_gal_tredsShirt: Nasty Gal // Jeans: Topshop Joni
Heels: tReds* // Watch: Michael Kors MK5055

I have big amounts of love for this shirt. I got it last year and I featured it on on my blog in one of my first few ever outfit posts. It also made it into Look Magazine which I got VERY excited about as I’ve been reading it since it launched. So to be featured in it was beyond amazing.

It’s the perfect shirt to throw on and with jeans or if it’s hotter weather a pair of denim shorts. There is no need to accessorize as the detail of the shirt itself is enough. It’s so simple yet so stand out which is why I love it so much. I am starting to like a lot more clean simple pieces lately. My love for prints hasn’t disappeared by any means but I am just finding myself drawn more to clean lines and tailored pieces more and more.

I was out for a friends birthday for food and drinks so I didn’t want to go all out dressy as it was a restaurant come bar. I went for my super skinny Joni’s as these are the perfect night out jean for me. I tucked the top in to keep it from looking scruffy and I only added my watch accessory wise. When you have so much detail on one piece I like to keep the attention there and not distract with rings and bracelets

My studded court shoes from the lovely people at tReds were spot on as they matched the colour of the shirt and the mini stud detail was perfect for a little added extra something to the outfit. They didn’t draw attention away from the shirt but still accessorized the outfit at the same time.

I kept my hair messy straight so the look wasn’t too polished, added a slick of pink lippy and voila! It was time to get my party on.

Hope you all had a fab Easter and ate lots of yummy chocolate.
