I don’t know about everyone else but I am LOVING this weather!! It was my best friends birthday night out and also my sisters first night out since having her baby so it was definitely a cause for celebration. I decided to brave it and get the legs out for the first time since last summer.

I wore my new cream textured scallop edge two tier skirt and teamed it with my baggy short sleeve denim shirt to balance out the bottom half. I added a bright necklace to make the oversized top half a bit more girly and glam for a night out.

I also wore my latest bargain buy, these simple black strappy sandal heels from Primark. They were only £12! I love them, so simple and easy to wear with anything. I am looking for the same heels but in a nude/taupe suede but can’t find any about at the moment. I was definitely feeling the Summer vibes. My jacket of choice was my faux leather biker jacket to toughen the overall look up slightly.

I went for bright pink lips to go with the pink in the necklace. My hair was not doing much as it was freshly washed so I just chucked it across to one side and messed it up a bit and I was ready to go.

I am so excited to start wearing more summery pieces now. It’s my favourite time of year to dress as you can get really experimental. It’s hard in the colder months as you have to later up so much but summer is a fun time to play around with trends and styles.
