As the saying goes….On Wednesdays we wear pink! A couple of weeks ago it was my sister’s birthday and I booked the day off work to spend it with her and my new gorgeous baby niece. It was one of the first nice sunny days we’d had and as I was feeling chirpy I decided to wear this bright pink jacket to match the weather and my mood. As it was a Wednesday it only felt right.
I got this gorgeous jacket a couple weeks back when I briefly popped into River Island just for a ‘quick look’ and I came out £200 worse off! There is so much I want in there at the moment, their Spring Summer is just beautiful. I am a fan of a bold statement jacket and this hot pink one wasn’t going to escape my grasp. It completely transforms even the most boring of outfits as soon as you put it on. I am going to be wearing this to death this Summer.
I got this top about a week ago when I was passing H&M, I saw it on a mannequin at the front of the store and it drew me in. I like that its really simple but the small stitching detail and thick structure to it makes it slightly different to a standard tee. It’s great for the trans-seasonal weather we get in this country when it’s too cold to wear just a thin top and light jacket but too warm to wear knitwear.
The jeans have been blogged before, they are a lovely thick denim in a nice deep clean black. I love it when jeans have zips at the ankles I think it’s a nice touch. I needed a new pair of standard black ankle grazers and as always ASOS delivered with these beauties and a bargain price. (They also recently went into sale for a limited time, down to £17.50 so if they are still available go go go!)
The loafers were a pair I got back in December and they are the perfect shoe to add a smart twist to an outfit. I absolutely adore these flats and the gold buckle just finishes them off nicely. The necklace is one you’ve all seen before, especially if you follow my Instagram. It was my recent Primark bargain and you can change the letters up whenever you please.
I really liked this outfit mostly because it is so bright and just made me feel happy when I wore it. If you’re feeling down at all then the answer is definitely to go bold and bright!
