Trousers: River Island
Shoes: Primark
Bag: Mango
These pictures, which I apologise are not that great as I didn’t manage to take proper photos so had to make do with a few snaps in the toilets, are from a couple of weeks ago when it was my best friend Erin’s birthday night out. We all went for a meal and then out for drinks afterwards. I didn’t want to get too dressed up because 1) I didn’t want to go to the restaurant too over dressed and 2) it was freeeezing! I was shopping that day in town and I had a bit of a mini spree in River Island where I picked up these trousers. I’d spotted them online and as soon as I saw them in the store I had to have them. They are the perfect way to make a statement. I love the fit and the high waist cut of them, they came to just below the ankle but I quite like ankle grazer length so I rolled them up twice also to show off the shoes.
The trousers were so stand out that I wanted the rest of the outfit to be quite muted so I kept everything minimal and black. The cami top balanced out the brightness of the trousers and I went for simple accessories with my studded clutch, watch and a couple of rings. The belt came with the trousers and I quite liked them together so I kept it on. The shoes are the best £8 I’ve ever spent. They are so comfortable and go with absolutely everything. I am really liking simple shoes at the moment. There isn’t many others about that I like so I will keep wearing these to death for a little bit more.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Back to work again tomorrow but it’s going to be an exciting week, I’m in London for events this week and it’s the build up to LFW! I cannot wait to see what the AW shows bring.
Ah love these trousers, keep getting tempted to buy the green ones from River Island!
Beautiful.
