On Wednesday I was very lucky to have been invited along to the uber-swanky W Hotel in Leicester Square. I spent the day with the lovely Sarah from ‘That Pommie Girl‘ (check her out, she’s amazing) I can’t even begin to describe how amazing the hotel is. We were papped on the way in by some lovely photographers which I must admit made us feel quite the celebs! Then we were led up to the penthouse suite which is where the event was being held. It was for Zalando which if you haven’t heard of it is Europe’s prime fashion destination. It stocks pretty much anything you can think of with prices ranging from £20-£5,000. The event was to raise the profile of Zalando within the UK and just show what a fantastic range of products they have available.

On entering the sweet and kindly being given a glass of champagne to kick off with we got chatting to one of the girls working the event and she was explaining what Zalando was all about. She also told us that the last person to rent the penthouse suite was none other than Leonardo DiCaprio, as you can imagine this got us more than excited to explore the suite! It was completely out of this world luxury, the lounge area came complete with a revolving sofa, hanging ball swing chair and a humongous TV. After having a browse around the place looking at the various clothing that Zalando had to offer (where I spotted a gorgeous metallic Michael Kors blazer) we were treated to a KMS hair make over and an express manicure thanks to the lovely girls at Lyttle Minx. We got given some fab goody bags to take home with all sorts inside. My favourite item was a gorgeous pink light berry colour Giordani lipstick. We got to see the exclusive collaboration with Italian blogger Eleanora Carisi. Her collection was all in one print consisting of jungle theme print and the perfect spring colours. All the pieces work as separates but because of the print all being the same they make the perfect mix and match co-ords.

Sarah and I were also approached by Sky TV where they asked for a mini interview to tell the viewers of Sky Beauty & Fitness channel all about our blogs. I was pretty nervous but I think I did ok…..ish.
