Since it’s Thursday I decided I could do a #tbt (Throwback Thursday FYI) kind of post. I know it’s not technically a throwback when it’s only 3 weeks ago but I had these outfit pictures of when I went out for dinner over the Christmas period. Hence the festive berry shades and gold accessories. So I thought I would share them with you anyway.

Myself and my family all went out for a yummy Chinese together to celebrate my Mum’s birthday. I wore this cute simple burgundy dress which I have in numerous other colours. They are so easy to wear and can be dressed up slightly or they can also be the perfect go-to day dress. I have it in grey marl which is my fave, navy and denim. I wear them a lot throughout the summer as they are hassle free to just throw on and accessorise.

For this outfit I picked out a chunky gold necklace which I got on a recent bargain busting trip to Primark. I teamed the gold necklace with my boyfriend MK watch and a few skinny gold rings stacked here and there (I added the rings after the photos). The cross adorned waist belt was another little cheeky Primark purchase. It’s good for giving a look a slight grunge twist.

I added my style steal Matalan boots to the combo as the gold accents were just right for the outfit. Just before I left the house I went with my leather biker jacket as my choice of outerwear and my Mango gold studded clutch to toughen it up a little. I had to add tights because it was bitterly cold. I try to refrain from wearing tights where possible because I just really prefer outfits with bare legs but sometimes England is just too damn cold!

I love wearing berry shades in December. They just go hand in hand with each other and they make me feel super festive. Looking back on these in January makes me realise just how fast December flew by. Christmas is definitely the best and my favourite time of year. Time spent with family and yummy edible treats, what can be bad about that?!

I really did have a wonderful 2013 and am truly thankful to every single person that’s ever read my blog, followed me whether it’s on my blog, Instagram or Twitter, nominated and voted for the awards I was up for (one of which I won highly commended newcomer so thanks to you brilliant people) I am just so happy with how everything has gone so THANK YOU!!

I am excited for 2014 and everything it will bring. I have one sister becoming a mummy for the first time and the other getting married. Plus one of my best friends wedding too, it will certainly be a busy 12 months. I absolutely can’t wait to be an aunty, the only downside is that I know my bank balance will take a beating as I will now be buying clothes for me and my future little fashionista niece/nephew.
