A few days ago I went to London for a day of touristy fun with the boyfriend. We started off by saying hello to Queenie at Buckingham Palace.

The flag was up signalling that Liz was in the building, so all the tourists were out in force with their cameras. We also saw some people leaving the palace and realised it was the day everyone was receiving their honours, one proud man whom I assume is in the military due to his uniform had a lovely photo with his wife and children while he grinned from ear to ear holding his cross up to the camera, it was a really nice moment to see.

It was quite a sunny day but one of those crisp cold winter days so I made sure to wrap up warm. I got this cropped fluffy jumper the week before and my god it’s the softest thing ever! It’s super cosy and snuggley so I thought it would be perfect for the day. I teamed itwith my rapidly thread baring disco pants that desperately need replacing very soon. I wore these cut out flat boots as I knew I would be covering a lot of ground and needed comfy footwear. I rolled the disco pants up a couple of I times to show off the boots properly.

I added the necklace to dress it up a bit and my boyfriend watch was the only other accessory I opted for. I used my trusty large tote bag as I was feeling a bit colourless on the bottom half with an all black bag so the grey side panels on this bag broke it up a little bit for me. The coat is lightweight, dressy and monochrome (meaning it goes with everything) and warm all mixed into the perfect jacket.

I kept make up natural and simple, finished off with a darker taupe/nude lip colour. The weather was certainly not on my side so instead of being temporarily blinded every few seconds when a gust of wind blew it over my eyes I decided to wear my hair in a messy side plait.
