I got this top way back in April and I’ve only worn it once before this since I’ve had it. It was unbearably hot to wear it all throughout summer so I saved it until it had cooled down a lot. I wore this outfit a little while ago now, the night before I came home from Greece for Christmas. My boyfriend and I went to the cutest little Mexican for dinner and off out for a drink after in Corfu town.
I absolutely love everything about this shirt, the rainbow of colours make it such a loud statement piece. I added my quirky new necklace which I am loving at the moment. Who though that beetles and wasps on a necklace would work?! I kept my bottom half simple my wearing some ankle grazer jeans and my blue Metro loafers. When I headed out I added a leather biker jacket and studded clutch bag to accessorise.
I love the length of this shirt. It sits just on the waistband of the jeans which means you can’t tuck it in because as soon as you move it up tucks but it has a nice shape when just left to hang loose. It would look good however tucked into a high waisted leather skirt. I’m thinking of wearing it with that and maybe some tights and boots for a more casual winter look.
I opted for pink lippy to pick out the pink in the shirt. The whole outfit is quite a mish-mash of colours but that is something that I am Definitely not afraid of. I very rarely wear all black ensembles because a bit of colour really transforms an outfit and even a fairly casual outfit can be given a 180 with a splash of colour.
