Jumper: Only at ASOS
Jeans: Topshop (Jamie jeans)
Bag: Mulberry (new season version here)
Watch: Michael Kors
A while back I got a pleather t-shirt from Topshop. It’s a nice change from a plain jersey boyfriend tee sometimes and the addition of texture makes an outfit more interesting. As it got towards the cooler temperatures of November I realised that it wouldn’t look that good with my much worn winter staple, my leather biker jacket.
I had a bit of an ASOS haul and picked up this pleather panel jumper. It has regular sleeves and back but the front middle section is a faux leather material. It’s so comfortable and also a fairly thin material which is a bonus for layering it up.
The shoes were another item from my recent spree, at only £22 they were great value. The cranberry/burgundy colour is one of my favourite Winter shades. I love shoes with any embellishment or appliqués. The horse head buckles on the front add a cute little quirk.
The jeans sit just on the ankle which I really like when wearing flats. It makes an outfit look a little smarter when trousers are cut to the ankle. I used my Mulberry Effie satchel which is the perfect casual day bag The best bit is you can remove the long strap and use it as a soft slouchy clutch.
I got the necklace from the same mini haul and it was a bargain at £12. The chain sits on a torque bar so that the necklace can’t go out of shape, it has an adjustable clap so you can alter the length slightly to make it sit where you want. It is quite a short necklace even at it’s longet length so it’s more suited to sit under the collar of a shirt but looks good sitting on the collar bones with tops like camisoles too.
