A couple of days ago the girls and I had a little day trip out to the opposite side of the island. The sun was shining and there wasn’t a cloud in sight so we thought we would take full advantage and visit the beautiful little harbour village of Kassiopi. It has coffee shops and restaurants surrounding the port where you can sit and watch the world go by. It is such a picturesque little village complete with it’s own church and a beautiful old fortress.
After our coffee and catch up in the gorgeous sunshine we headed for the fortress to have a look around and soak up some views of the village from above.
As the weather was so good I took full advantage it’s not going to last forever. I wore this cat print skater skirt which is nothing short of adorable. When I saw it I fell head over heels for it, not just because I am a crazy cat lady but also because the little cats on it are identical to my dearly missed gorgeous little cat Tigerlily.
I added a navy boyfriend t-shirt to balance out the girly look and print of the skirt. If you follow my blog you will know I enjoy mixing masculine and feminine pieces within outfits as I really like how they balance each other out. I also picked out a cute pink gem stone necklace to dress up the tee a bit.

I got THE most amazing shoes that Elvis would definitely have been proud of. These blue suede beauties were from my latest ASOS haul and I don’t know how I ever lived without them! Their rich deep cobalt blue colour is perfect for the luxe jewel tones that Autumn brings and carries on into the Christmas season. These can be worked into a whole host of outfits as the loafer style is great for when you want to opt for smart flats but also they can be worn in a casual style with a pair of skinny’s and a preppy jumper & shirt combo. I loved them so much I snapped up the black pair too. Another plus is that they are the most comfortable flats I’ve bought in a long long time.
As it was so sunny I went for my trusty Ray Ban Clubmaster sunglasses. These are probably my favourite Style of Ray Ban. I love the gold accent details on them which for me is kind of a continuation of my jewellery. I wore only my watch to go in line with the boyfriend t-shirt.
As you can see I got super snap happy with the girls (hence the very photo heavy post) who were fab at being stand-in photographers and taking my outfit pictures on the day. We had a lovely dog that took a liking to us and decided to become our personal body guard by following us around the entire fortress. We had such a lovely day and turned the whole thing into a fun photo shoot with all of us striking poses to rival Vogue.
