When it comes to Autumn I think layering is the way to go. It’s the key to ensuring you to stay warm and it’s great because there’s an endless possibility of outfit choices when layering as you can mix it up.
I was out just doing odd jobs and what not so I stayed casual. I went for my very over worn ripped knee skinnies which are the ultimate pair of casual jeans. They are actually starting to get a little light. I think I may dye them to get them back to a deep black again although I do quite like the worn look of them.
On the top half I wore a jumper I recently purchased for a mere £12! I do live a Primark bargain. The jumper is not so thick so I decided to wear another of my wardrobe faves, my denim shirt. I have had this for a couple of years now and worn it countless times. It is such a staple piece in my wardrobe. Denim shirts are brilliant for just a grab and go look because they are so easy to wear. They go with so many outfit choices and if you don’t want to wear a coat or thicker jacket then denim shorts are great for taking the chill off. They are also perfect for what I’ve done here and that is layering. I wore mine under this jumper for just some extra detail more than the warmth factor really because the weather has taken a strange twist and it’s super sunny and warm all of a sudden. Definitely not complaining about that!
I love the look of a collar poking out from under a jumper, t-shirt or even a dress. I also like that the shorter length of this jumper allows the shirt to peek out the bottom. I then added a necklace to just make it a little more girly as it is quite a mish mash outfit. I finished up with my brown chelsea boots to break up the colours a bit so it wasn’t all just blacks, whites and greys.
I have the exact same jumper and love it:) x
