I got this gorgeous navy blazer last week. I only really have one other navy jacket to wear in the evenings and it’s a nautical/school style blazer so it’s quite specific and doesn’t always go with a lot. I loved this as soon as I spotted it as navy is one of my favorite colours. I really loved the gem detail around the collar too, it’s subtle but adds a hint of glam without going to OTT. It would look great if you wear your hair up in a topknot to show off the detailing but it also looks good peeping through when your hair is down. A real winner all round and for only £34.99.
I also picked up the highly coveted Joni jeans in the light acid wash. I love the AA easy jeans and the ASOS über high waisted version that I recent got in the perfect mid wash vintage blue shade. It the acid ones were a nice alternative. As I’ve said before I don’t tend to wear light denim much but I really liked these as soon as I put them on. Sometimes it’s nice to mix it up a bit and wear stuff you don’t often go for.
The shoes were ones you would have seen if you follow me on Instagram or read my post about the Cosmo awards. I was delighted to find out when I got to the till that these weren’t the amazing price of £14 that they were labelled as, they had actually gone down to and unbelievable bargain busting price of £8!! I had to stop myself from doing a little jig at the till point.
Normally I don’t even look at a shoe that has no platform or a heel less than 5 inches but I was instantly in love with these when I walked past them in the shop. I never thought I would own a pair of white faux leather pointed court shoes because to be honest when these first started appearing in shops and on the catwalks again I was dead set against them. These little beauties drew me in though and there I was making the best dressed of the night at the Cosmo awards in them! They add a real air of sophistication to an outfit.
The high waist on the jeans make them perfect for wearing with cropped length tops so I picked my cream basic crop cami as they were the right shade to wear with the shoes. I also decided while I was doing things differently to usual rules that I would curl my hair. Now I’m not saying I never do this because last winter I went out a lot of weekends with curly locks but throughout the summer I barely touch my hair. Mostly because it is way way too hot to be fussing about with trying different hairstyles, it’s mostly a wash and go with a touch of argan oil through it while it’s damp and that’s about as advanced my hair care gets between May and October. It’s nice to have time and non-melting weather to have a bit of a fuss and feel a bit more girly again.
I was out for a few drinks just to kiss goodbye to the summer as the last few places close up for the Winter. I really liked the look of this outfit as it was the perfect combination of dressy and fun which is exactly what I was going for.

I can’t believe your shoes are from Primark! They look so much more expensive and as though they’re from Zara. Anyway, love the outfit! Simple yet incredibly stylish! Look forward to reading more posts.
Thank you!! I know I couldn’t believe they were only £8 too! 🙂 xx
