Now I know looking at this outfit you might think, ‘hang on a mo, haven’t I seen this outfit before?’ Well the answer is no you haven’t but you have seen a pretty similar outfit involving a variation of a cami and faux leather shorts which were also  in pink and black but this time the colours of the items have been switched. I know some people are funny about repeating outfits and I’m the first to admit I am one of those. However to me this outfit looks completely different.

For my night out I went for these uber-amazing faux leather shorts in this gorgeous bright coral shade. I added a Topshop cami but instead of the standard strappy v-neck camis I went for this cropped loose hem top with double straps that are PU coated. The straps loop through a little gathered section at the front allowing them to follow round to the back and create a criss-cross look. The style of the top hangs loosely and the hem line forming a wavy effect and the cropped length means it’s perfect for showing off the amazing-ness of these shorts.

I have these shorts in black faux leather and when I spotted these on a shopping spree I squealed with joy as I saw that little pink price tag, any fellow hardcore Topshoppers will know that can only mean one thing…..SALE!! They were a bargain busting £10! This kind of thing never happens to me it took me about two tenths of a second to grab them from the rail and head to the cash point.

Now onto the shoes, oh the shoes! They are beautiful pieces of what can only be described as art. I adore the simple design with chic little elements that give them a more luxe feel. The cut out design on the platform and heel teamed with the gold connecting bar in the middle are not majorly noticeable unless like me you are a shoe-psycho and notice even the tiniest detailing. I love the plain toe and ankle strap detail from the front and then you turn sideways and boom, gorgeousness. Bravo ASOS shoe design team.

I really like the whole look of this outfit and each piece can be mixed into a variety of different outfits. The shorts can be worn with a shirt and some ankle boots for a night out when it’s a bit colder and the pop of colour will really stand out. The top will look great with my new ASOS uber high waist jeans or my gold disco pants. The shoes will look good with basically everything due to their simple design and tan colour which looks good with a whole spectrum of other colours.

I am very extremely excited about the impending Cosmo blog awards. I can’t wait to reveal my outfit which has been handmade by a very talented girl. You will have to wait little longer before the big reveal though. I am so excited for the actual night, I can’t wait to see what’s going to be at the event and I’m really looking forward to meeting other bloggers too.
