Boob Tube (under dress): Topshop
Sandals: New Look
Belt: River Island
I got this dress via eBay as at the time I wanted it, it had sold out in store and online. I bought this about 2 maybe even 3 years ago and only took the tags out when I wore it now. I’m loving having a rummage through all my older bits because I’m finding so much stuff I’ve either never worn or not worn for a very long time.
This is classed as a dress which you could just about get away with if worn without a belt and left to hang loose as the back and front are more dipped than the sides. but on anyone taller than me at 5’6 it would be sliding more to the tunic/long top category. I like to wear a belt with most dresses though as I prefer the way it looks so in this instance I had to wear something underneath as it bought the length of the dress up. I stuck to a black and gold theme keeping my sandals, belt and necklace all in the same colour.
You really don’t need to add much to this dress at all because the fringing alone is bold enough to not have to add anything to it. I love that the fringing runs along the arms but also down the sides of the dress. It gives the outfit a western edge without being too much for a casual look.
Hair was tied up in a topknot purely because it was way too hot to wear down but also to show off the dress to its full extent. A touch of darker lippy was added to complete my evening ensemble.
