Following on from my previous post my Moss obsession led me to purchasing this dress which I also own in Black. On browsing the American Apparel site and looking at this dress I clicked on the ‘press’ section to see how it looked on others and I discovered that this was owned in black by my one and only love (in the fashion world) Kate Moss. That was all it took for me to select my size in both navy and black and click the checkout button.

It’s such a flattering cut and the wide neck makes it sit nicely. The length is good for a casual dress, not too short at all. I usually tend to wear mine with a skinny waist belt to break it up a little and cinch the waist area in to show a bit more shape as the cut is quite boxy.

I noticed a while ago I didn’t own a plain white belt. It was only went I went to my belt rack to pick one out to put with an outfit that I then noticed I didn’t even have one so I had a browse on ASOS and found this skinny white belt with gold buckle which was exactly what I was looking for.

I kept with the navy and white theme and wore my plaited sandals. I love these but they only had white available. I would love these in a tan colour a my lat pair of tan sandals are on their last legs.

I didn’t wear a necklace because it would have probably been hidden as the neckline is fairly high. I added a sheer pink lipstick and my gold chunky boyfriend watch to finish the look off.

Do you have this dress? How do you style yours?
