Spring Has Sprung!

What a gorgeous day! England is so pretty on days like this when it’s bright and sunny but there’s still a crisp coldness to the air as you walk outside. Today has got me veeeeerry excited for my spring/summer wardrobe. So I decided to show off one of my recent purchases. The American Apparel ‘riding pants’.

I bought these last week in this bright stand out coral colour. Unlike the famous, and a dear favourite of mine, ‘disco pants’ they are ribbed. They also don’t have a high shine finish like the disco pants so you can probably get away with wearing them in a more casual way. There is such a wide variety of colours available too, some more daring than others.

I love how high the waist is on them and it’s such strong elastic on the waistband that it would definitely hold everything in, no need for spanx! They have a double button and zip closure and look just as great with tops tucked in or left loose hanging out. These also look fab with crop tops and you don’t feel like you have too much on show because of the high waist. The little ‘jodhpur’ style patches on the inside shin area are also really cute and add to the character of the trousers. All in all I am really glad I bought these and I was even happier when I received an email from American Apparel with 30% off everything, bargain!
